    One Way to Correct Standing Posture

    In today’s new video I show you a little tip for correcting a common postural mistake that people may make when standing. This postural mistake involves people standing in a posture that keeps the lower back muscles chronically contracted. By keeping the lower back muscles chronically contracted in a standing posture this may cause one’s lower back pain symptoms to become worse. Also, in the individual without lower back pain, keeping the lower back muscles chronically contracted in a standing posture could cause issues with tissue quality or fatigue (e.g., problems with metabolites, membrane potential, sarcoplasmic reticulum, cell death, etc.).
